Fugatta was founded in 2007 by José Esteban Pareja (bass), Iván Cantú (guitar) & José Roberto Moreno (keys). After a year of auditioning several drummers and singers; Daniel Viña (vocals) & Víctor Ávalos (drums) finally complete the band.
In 2008 Fugatta records its EP named “Fantastic Fate”. During the following 2 years, trough gigs and the composition of their first album, Cantú & Víctor decided to leave the band.
Eusebio Medrano & Diego Aguilar join the band and Fugatta records “Mystic Kingdom”, distributed in Japan by Radtone music in 2011.
After some years of inactivity and the leaving of José (Yoshi). Hugo Medina joins the band.
In 2019 Fugatta records its 2nd album called “Tales of a new century”. During the recording of this album, José Roberto leaves the band and Homero Lezama takes his place.
After recording his second album with the band, Diego Aguilar decided stop being the drumer of Fugatta. Giving the chance to our newest member Ignacio (Nash) Zalmerón.
By the end of 2020 and in the middle of a pandemic, Fugatta starts working once again with The Dirty Box Studio, this time to record its third production “The Darkest Planet” which talks about tight spots all around the world.
